Visit the Château de Fontainebleau

Inhabited from the 12th to the 19th century by the Royalty, it is still possible today to discover the decorations and furniture left by Napoleon III and Eugenie when they left the Château de Fontainebleau. The most furnished castle in Europe welcomes you for a 1h30 visit through time.

Stroll in the forest of Fontainebleau

Fontainebleau is well known for its castle, but it is not the only place of interest to discover. Indeed, the town is also home to a forest classified by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve. Recognized as one of the most beautiful in Europe, you can discover it by following the marked trails on foot, by bike or even on horseback. The most adventurous can also practice climbing on its boulders, some of which are mythical in the world of climbers such as the Alchemist.
