The history of our family campsite

Three generations, the same art of hospitality

The 4 Vents Camping and Caravanning Resort is, above all, a family business that has been passed down through three generations.

It all began in the 1960s. Agnès’s grandparents, who were passionate about travel, crisscrossed the roads in their Eriba camper. Their thirst for discovery took them all across Europe, all the way to Morocco. Throughout their journeys, they discovered the spirit of caravanning, the joy of meeting new people, and the importance of a warm welcome.

Upon their return, an idea naturally took shape. As owners of a vast orchard, they envisioned creating a place where travelers could stop, rest, and enjoy each other’s company. And so the Camping Caravaning des 4 Vents was born. From the very beginning, they decided to build a swimming pool there—a real asset at a time when few campgrounds had one.

A few years later, Agnès’s parents took over the business. They expanded the campground and helped it grow, particularly with the opening of Disneyland Paris, which gave a major boost to tourism in the region.

Today, Agnès and her husband Frédéric carry on this wonderful family tradition. True to the values of their predecessors, they continue to run a campground where a warm welcome, simplicity, and the spirit of caravanning remain at the heart of every stay.

The legacy is now being carried on by their daughter Charline, who has a background in the luxury hospitality industry and has joined the family business to prepare to take the reins and, in turn, write a new chapter in this wonderful story.
